AICEL SUPERMARKET is an online project of the African Institute for Culture and Economic Literacy Ltd, Registration No. 120230052954, TPIN 2001552040, situated at Plot 1936 Off Ngwerere in Chelstone, Lusaka.
1.1. The Participant joins the AICEL SUPERMARKET Rewards Program to earn Bonus Units based on qualifying grocery spending.
1.2. This is a profit-sharing program for our loyal customers. When you shop, you earn Points. Points equal your share of the annual Loyalty Bonus Pool.
2.1. This program is only open to residents of Zambia.
2.2. Members of the Diaspora with a bank account in Zambia are also eligible to participate.
3.2. For record purposes only: 1 Bonus Unit is valued at K41,400 as of August 2026. This is for calculation only and does not guarantee future value or cash.
3.3. Bonus Units have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred, pledged, or inherited after death. They only entitle you to a share of the annual bonus pool.
3.4. Points Accumulation and Carry-Forward:
- 1. Lifetime Accumulation: All Points earned by a VIP PIONEER Member are accumulated for the lifetime of the Membership. Points do not expire and are not deducted after the annual bonus payout.
- 2. Annual Bonus Calculation: Each December, a Member’s bonus shall be calculated using the Member’s total accumulated Points to date. This includes Points earned in all previous years plus Points earned in the current calendar year.
-
3. Example:
Year 1: VIP earns 108 Points. December bonus is calculated on 108 Points.
Year 2: VIP earns 90 new Points. December bonus is calculated on 108 + 90 = 198 Points.
Year 3: VIP earns 120 new Points. December bonus is calculated on 198 + 120 = 318 Points.
You earn Points on every qualifying purchase. The more you shop, the more Points and Bonus Units you get.
Every December, the Board will set aside part of the profit as the "Loyalty Bonus Pool".
5.1. Taxes: Bonus payments are subject to any applicable withholding tax as required by law.
5.2. Bonus For Life: AICEL will share a percentage of its annual Net Profit with VIP Members as a thank you for supporting the company during its critical start-up period. This right is permanent and does not expire.
5.3. Annual Qualification: To receive a bonus payout in any calendar year, a VIP Member must make at least 1 qualifying purchase during that year. If a VIP Member makes zero purchases in a calendar year, they will not receive a bonus for that year. Their accumulated Points and VIP Status will remain active and they may qualify again in any future year they make a purchase.
5.4. Payout: Bonuses will be paid once per year, in December, via Mobile Money to the registered number of the qualifying VIP Member or to the bank account.
The Board decides every year:
- 6.1. If there is a bonus
- 6.2. How big the bonus pool is.
This depends on profit, reserves, and company growth. The decision of the Board shall be deemed as final and conclusive.
This is not a loan, not a salary, not equity, and not a guarantee. This is a discretionary bonus paid from company profits.
8.1. Earning Points: Participants earn AICEL VIP Points on all qualifying purchases. The value of Points earned depends on the price of each product. The higher the price of the product, the higher the value of Points earned.
8.2. Minimum Cart Value: At every purchase, the cart value shall not be less than K2,000. Any purchase below K2,000 shall not qualify for Points but can be converted to ordinary loyalty points to be exchanged with free products.
8.3. Exclusions: No Points shall be awarded on products sold on promotion, discount, or special offer. Only full-price items count towards the K2,000 threshold and Points allocation.
8.4. Individual Allocation: Bonus Units are issued directly and individually to the Participant. There is no group account or collective ownership.

9.2. Program Changes: AICEL reserves the right to adjust the Kwacha value of Points awarded per product and the minimum order to ensure program sustainability.
